UNA BASEBALL TEAM RANKED 17TH BY PING

-- Off to a solid 12-3 start, the University
of North Alabama baseball team is ranked No.
17 in the latest Ping NCAA Division II
rankings.
UNA is one of
five Gulf South Conference teams in this
week's ranking, including second ranked
Ouachita Baptist. UNA plays a double-header
at OBU on Wednesday.
Also ranked
from the GSC are West Alabama (7th), Delta
State (9th) and Montevallo (27th).
The Lions have
steadily moved up in the Ping rankings this
season but UNA dropped out of this week's
College Baseball Newspaper poll after
ranking 29th last week.
