SATURDAY IS UNA DAY AS LIONS HOLD SPRING
GAME

University of North Alabama Head Football
Coach Terry Bowden will lead his first Lions
football squad on to the field at Braly
Stadium this Saturday at 6 p.m. when UNA
holds its Annual Purple-White Spring
Football Game.
There is no admission charge for the game,
but the UNA Student-Athlete Advisory
Committee will be collecting canned food
items and $1.00 donations for the
Make-A-Wish Foundation at the gate.
Tailgating will be taking place all
afternoon at Spirit Hill, leading up to the
Spring Game at 6 p.m.
The Spring Game is part of a full day of
activities at UNA.
The Lions baseball team will host a
double-header against Quincy University
beginning at noon at Mike Lane Field. At 3
p.m. there will be a dedication ceremony for
the Henry Harold Self Field House, formerly
known as the Flowers Hall Annex. At 4 p.m.
the UNA football team will have its Lion
Walk at Spirit Hill. There will be a Kid’s
fun zone area and the UNA National Alumni
Association and the UNA Sportsman’s Club
will have a tent on Spirit Hill.
UNA DAY, April 4
Noon – UNA Baseball vs. Quincy (Mike Lane
Field)
3:00pm – Dedication of Self Field House
(former Flower’s Hall Annex)
4:00pm – Lion Walk on Spirit Hill
6:00pm – UNA Spring Football Game
8:00pm – Post game(meet and greet UNA
coaches/student-athletes…all fans invited to
come on field and meet members of the Lion
family).
