CREEL TIES
FOR MEDALIST HONORS
Hot Springs, AR—The
University of North Alabama golf
team turned in its worst round of
the tournament
Tuesday and had to settle for a
fourth place finish at the 2007 Gulf

UNA had entered the final round just
one stroke behind defending champion
West Florida but lost ground to
the Argonauts.
Individually, UNA's Daniel Creel and
VSU's Jason Flowers shared GSC

since 2002, when West Florida's
Kevin Warrick won in playoff action.

round 286, capturing its second
straight Blue Cross Blue Shield/Gulf
South
Conference Men's Golf Championship.

the lone team in negative figures,
posting a -5, 859, and claiming
back-to-
back GSC Titles for the third time
in school history.

ahead of Arkansas Tech for second
place, posting a +4, 868. North

Cuzen, tied for third place (-4,
212) earning them Co-GSC Freshman of
the Year laurels as the highest true
freshman scorers. ATU's Jarred
Carlyle and VSU's Josh Thompkins
tied for
