UNA'S MUNSON SEALS ONE STROKE WIN OVER DELTA STATE 571-572

CLEVELAND –The 21^st annual Derrall Foreman Classic concluded Saturday in the closest finish ever as the University of North Alabama's Brett Munson sealed his team's victory with one stroke on the 18th and final hole. His shot gave UNA a 571 total, nudging the host Statesmen by a single stroke.

Munson, the 2008 Foreman Classic Medalist who fired a first round 4-under 68, finished the Foreman Classic for the second-straight year as the Individual Medalist with a final round 66 to finish 10-under at 134.

The Foreman Classic All-Tournament Team was led by Munson’s 10-under 134 (68-66). Henderson State’s Matt Atkins finished second with a 138 (69-69) and was tied with Richard Doherty of Lindenwood (71-67) with a 138. DSU’s McCrary was fourth overall with a 140, while UNA’s Tyler Chandler (73-69) and Arkansas Tech’s Graham Rucker (74-68) rounded out the team with a 142.
