NORTH ALABAMA
ADDS FOOTBALL SIGNEE
FLORENCE -- The University of
North Alabama has added a gem to an already impressive list of 2005
football signees with the signing of defensive tackle Kentrell
Tanner. Tanner, a 6-foot-3, 285-pound lineman from Brandon,
Miss., transfers to UNA after a remarkable career at Hinds (Miss.)
Community College. In 2004 he was an All-State selection in
the Mississippi Junior College ranks and was the Defensive Most
Valuable Player in the state All-Star Game. Tanner joins a
list of 34 signees that UNA added back on National Signing Day on
February 2. Set to enter their fourth season under head coach
Mark Hudspeth, the Lions will begin their 2005 Spring practice on
March 21. |
