LIONS STILL RANKED IN NCAA STATISTICS

FLORENCE -- The University of North Alabama Lions dropped in the NCAA Division II football statistics released Tuesday but the Lions were still prominent in several categories. UNA, 2-1 overall, is tied for 18th nationally in rushing defense (78.7), tied for 38th in scoring offense(36.0) and ranked 29th in total offense(417.0). Individually for UNA, DeMarcus Blount is ranked 22nd in kickoff returns. Evan Oglesby is tied for ninth in passes defended while Blake Farris and Lacy Hill are both tied at 24th.
