to lead
the
Chargers

victory
over
North
Alabama
Saturday
evening
in Gulf
South
Conference
men’s
basketball
action.
The home
win
gives
UAH a
13-4
overall
record
with a
perfect
2-0 mark
in GSC
play.
UNA
drops
its
second
straight
road
conference
game to
fall to
8-9
overall
and 1-3
in the
league.
UAH had
possession
and a
76-74
lead
when
Magette
made his
first
big
basket.
With the
shot
clock
winding
down, is
long-range
shot
from the
left
side of
the
court
put the
Chargers
on top
79-74
with
1:50
remaining.
Following
a missed
shot by
the
Lions,
Magette
connected
on
another
three-pointer
at the
1:14
mark and
UNA was
never
able to
recover.
Daviel
Clements
led the
Lions
with 25
points
on the
night.
Rory
Miller
added 22
points
and
seven
rebounds
while
Jared
Strode
tossed
in 13
points
for UNA.
North
Alabama
will
travel
