JACKSON, Tenn., – A cold shooting performance down the stretch for the University of North Alabama men’s basketball team resulted in an 82-76 loss to Lambuth Thursday evening on the LU campus in Jackson, Tenn. The Lions made only one field goal in the final 7:20 and failed to connect from three-point range the entire second half. The loss drops the team to 10-10 on the year while the host Eagles improve to 11-7.

UNA’s Rory Miller produced game-highs in points (26) and rebounds (14) on the night. His basket with eight seconds remaining was the first for the Lions since the 7:20 mark. As a team, the Lions shot 40 percent from the field, but went 2-of-19 from three-point range, including an 0-for-6 showing in the second half.

Daviel Clements added 22 points for North Alabama, who returns to Gulf South Conference action on Feb. 4 at Valdosta State.
