Alabama
men’s
basketball
team
resulted
in an
82-76
loss to
Lambuth
Thursday
evening
on the
LU
campus
in
Jackson,
Tenn.
The
Lions
made
only one
field
goal in
the
final
7:20 and
failed
to
connect
from
three-point
range
the
entire
second
half.
The loss
drops
the team
to 10-10
on the
year
while
the host
Eagles
improve
to 11-7.
UNA’s
Rory
Miller
produced
game-highs
in
points
(26) and
rebounds
(14) on
the
night.
His
basket
with
eight
seconds
remaining
was the
first
for the
Lions
since
the 7:20
mark. As
a team,
the
Lions
shot 40
percent
from the
field,
but went
2-of-19
from
three-point
range,
including
an
0-for-6
showing
in the
second
half.
Daviel
Clements
added 22
points
for
North
Alabama,
who
returns
to Gulf
South
Conference
action
on Feb.
4 at
Valdosta
State.
