ARKADELPHIA, Ark.,
- The University
of North Alabama men’s
basketball team evened its
overall record for the season
with an 83-75 road victory over
Ouachita Baptist Friday evening
at Bill Vining Arena on the OBU
campus. Jared Strode led all
scorers with 28 points as UNA

at the half.
The Lions were able to rally
over the final 20 minutes by
turning up its defensive
pressure and connecting from the
free throw line. UNA hit
31-of-33 free throw attempts,
but still trailed by two at the
half after the Tigers (1-5) hit
7-of-12 shots from three-point

OBU hit just two more
three-pointers while the Lions
began to find their offensive
rhythm.
Strode added seven rebounds, two
assists and was 10-of-12 from
the foul line. He was the only
UNA player to miss from the
charity stripe. Daviel Clements
added 21 points and hit all nine
of his free throws. Rory Miller
also reached double figures in
scoring with 14 points for the
Lions.
For the game, North Alabama held

on Nov. 21.

against Gulf South Conference
West Division competition
Saturday at Arkansas Tech.
