UNA MEN LOSE AT HOME TO LANE (BOX SCORE)

FLORENCE -- Lane scored 63 points in the seconds half, shooting a hot 56 percent from the floor, as the Dragons downed North Alabama 100-93 at Flowers Hall. With the game tied at 37-37 at halftime, Lane outscored UNA 28-14 over the first seven minutes of the half to take a 14-point lead. Lane's lead stretched to 17 and UNA never got closer than six down the stretch.  Lane improved to 4-3 with its fourth straight win. UNA falls to 7-4 with its third straight loss.  UNA had six players score in double-figures, led by Pervis Key with 23. Luke Copleland added 15, Pete Lowe 14, Jerrell Vinson 13, and Casey Holt and Thomas Morris 10 each. Gary Long had 27 for Lane, followed by Leroy Douglas with 23, Jayson Williams with 20, Adrian Comer with 14 and Derrick Turner with 12.  Lane held a 46-41 rebounding edge, led by Williams with 15 boards.
