BIBBS HITS WINNING JUMPER FOR LIONS (BOX

FLORENCE --
Reprobatus Bibbs hit a driving jumper with four seconds left to give
North Alabama a 62-60 Gulf South Conference win over West Florida at
Flowers Hall Monday. Bibbs shot broke a 60-60 tie and helped
propel North Alabama to 10-6 overall and 3-1 in the GSC. West
Florida falls to 8-9 and 0-4. UNA built a 42-30 halftime lead
but saw that lead evaporate early in the second half. Bibbs winning
jumper was the third time this season he has provided the
game-winning margin in the clutch for the Lions. Pervis Key
led UNA with 18 points, hitting six three-pointers in the first
half. A.J. Gordon added 10 points. Bryan Richardson led UWF with 16. |
