LIONS FALL SHORT AT

VALDOSTA, Ga. -- North Alabama
fought Valdosta State to the closing seconds before the Lions fell
on the short end of a 79-74 decision at the VSU Complex. The
loss drops UNA to 11-11 overall and 3-6 in the Gulf South
Conference. VSU is 17-4 and 7-2.
A.J. Gordon led UNA with 22 points,
while Reprobatus Bibbs added 15 and Pete Lowe 13. Jon Rogers led
four VSU players in double-figures with 20 points. UNA was
outscored 13-0 to open the game but managed to go into halftime down
just 36-34. |
