HUNTSVILLE, Ala.
-- North Alabama scored 44 points in the second half to
overcome a four-point halftime deficit and down LeMoyne-Owen 71-63
in the GSC/SIAC Crossover Classic at Spragins Hall.
UNA, now 5-1 overall, trailed 31-27 at
intermission but outscored the Magicians 44-32 over the final 20
minutes for the win.
A.J. Gordon led UNA with 24 points, going
10-of-15 from the floor and 4-for-5 from the free throw line.
Reprobatus Bibbs added 18 and Pervis Key had 15 points and 11
rebounds. Paul Massey led LeMoyne-Owen (0-3) with 13 points and 13
rebounds.
UNA held a 44-35 rebounding edge and was a
much-improved 16-of-24 from the line in the game.
UNA plays at Delta State Monday.
