FLORENCE, Ala.
-- The University of North Alabama women's
cross country team moved up one spot to
eighth in the latest NCAA Division II South
Regional rankings.
The Lions
finished fifth in a 15-team field at the
Gulf South Conference Championships and will
now carry that No. 8 ranking into the South
Regional Championships on November 3 in
Huntsville.
The top six
teams in the region will advance to the NCAA
Division II Championships in Joplin, Mo., on
November 17.
