UNA DROPS 3-1 DECISION AT WEST GEORGIA

CARROLLTON, Ga. -- North Alabama held a 1-0 lead at intermission but ended up on the short end of a 3-1
final decision to West Georgia in a non-conference women's soccer game Sunday.  Freshman Paige Hess took a pass from Rhiannon Harrison at the end of the first half to put UNA on top 1-0.  West Georgia ralied to get three goals over the final 45 minutes, with two coming from Alex Udin and the other from Margret Jonsdottir.

The Lions starting goalkeeper Mally Cash didn't make the trip due to illness and sophomore Rachel Reed stepped into the keeper role for the first time in her career at UNA. She made eight saves in the game.
