FLORENCE -- The University of North Alabama had six members of its women's soccer team named to the 2009 National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division II All-South Region team.

UNA freshman forward Chloe Roberts was named first-team All-South Region, while senior forward Tassia Augusto, freshman midfielder Jo Chubb and freshman defender Julia Osmond were named to the second team. Freshman midfielder Nikki Brown and sophomore goalkeeper were placed on the third-team all-region squad.

UNA enjoyed the best season in school history in 2009, posting a 19-4-1 record that included a second place finish in the Gulf South Conference and the school's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
