UNA 2005: Beckwith saw action in 54 games last season, all starts. Her .311 batting average made her one of five players to bat over the .300 mark for the year. She had 46 hits on the season, including seven doubles, eight home runs and 34 RBI. She received conference and national honors the week of March 23rd after batting .583 with three home runs and nine RBI
with a 1.333 slugging percentage and a .615 on-base percentage in five games. Her streak earned her Gulf South Conference Player of the Week honors, as well as the National Fast-Pitch Coaches Association national Player of the Week award. Produced a .963 fielding percentage on the year.

UNA 2004: Was one of five players to start all 52 games for the Lions. She started the season with a four-game hitting streak. She batted .211 on the season with 31 hits, including seven doubles. She hit her first career home run on April 10 against West Georgia and went 3-for-5 on April 24 in the final game of the season against West Alabama.

HIGH SCHOOL: Pitched at Saint Bernard Prepatory School under coach Anette Harris. She was Cullman County Softball Player of the Year her senior year and was named to the all-area team. She led the Saints in stolen bases for four straight years, was a golden glove winner her freshman and senior years and was MVP her freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years. She holds the Saint Bernard record for most strikeouts in a game, setting that mark as a
freshman.

PERSONAL: Full name is Emily Lorene Rowe Beckwith. Born on October 14, 1984. She is the daughter of Tom and Anita and has one brother, Tommy. Majoring in nursing at UNA.
