UNA 2005: Maas saw action in 54 games as a true freshman for the Lions in 2005. Her .337 batting average was second on the team. She also had a .409 slugging percentage and was one of three players to record more than 60 hits on the year. she totaled 18 RBI, five doubles, a triple and two home runs. Her first career homer came during an 11-9 win over Central Arkansas on 2-12.

HIGH SCHOOL: Maas prepped at Bloomingdale High School under coach Mike Clamon. She played center field for the Class 6A Bulls and helped lead the team to district and regional
championships in 2004. As a senior, she earned all-county, all-conference and all-suncoast honors and was named second team all-state. She also lettered in volleyball for four years.

PERSONAL: Full name is Kristin Yvonne Maas. Born on May 30, 1986. She is the daughter of Rick and Cheryl Maas and has one brother, Erik, who is the graduate assistant coach for the UNA baseball team. Majoring in criminal justice at UNA.
