UNA 2005: Greene led the team with a .346 batting average as a true freshman last season. Batting in the lead-off role, she had a team-best .417 on-base percentage and also tied a school record with 63 hits on the season--also a team high in 2005. She started all 56 games for the Lions at centerfield and had the team's longest hitting streak of the year at 17 games. Greene was named the Gulf South Conference East Division's Freshman of the Year, becoming the first UNA player to earn the honor. She added 10 doubles and 39 runs at the plate with a home run on March 10th against Freede-Hardeman. Defensively, she had 73 putouts with two assists and a .974 fielding percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL: Greene played for Butch Wright at Austin High School. She played center field for the Class 6A Black Bears and was an all-area selection as a senior in 2004. She was selected to play in the Alabama All-Star Game in Montgomery. As a senior, she recorded a .401 batting average with 19 doubles, 40 RBI's and 47 runs. She also lettered in basketball.

PERSONAL: Full name is Lindsey Shea Greene. Born on September 29, 1985. She is the
daughter of Howard and Janet Greene and has one brother, Lance. She is undecided on a major.
