UNA 2006: Goebel saw action in 57 games for the Lions in 2006, all starts. Playing at third base, she produced a team-high 112 assists on the year. At the plate, she went 48-for-171 for a .281 batting average. She recorded 48 hits on the year, including six doubles and five home runs. She also added 34 RBI and scored 30 runs for the Lions. On Mar. 1, she went 3-for-4 with a double and five RBI during an 18-0 win over Clark Atlanta.

UNA 2005: Played in and started all 56 games for the Lions in 2005. She went 48-for-169 at the plate for a .284 batting average and tied for the team lead in doubles with 13. The total tied teammate Jessica Liddy, and also the school record for most doubles in a season. She also added six home runs. She had 11 multiple- hit games on the year, including a team-high five three-hit showings. She posted back-to- back three-hit performances against Central Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello.

UNA 2004: Played in all 52 games for the Lions as a true freshman. She recorded 33 hits on the year with 18 RBI and 11 runs scored. She hit her first career home run on Feb. 28 at home against Florida Southern. She also recorded seven multiple-hit games on the year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played third base for Olathe North High School under coach Jay Jones. She was All- Olathe her freshman year, All-Sunflower her sophomore year, All-Olathe her junior year and All-Olathe second- team her senior year. She also lettered in volleyball and basketball, was named to the Prinicpal's honor role and won the citizenship award.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Amy Ann Goebel. She was born on January 31, 1985.  She is the daughter of Lane and Linda Goebel and has two sisters, Jill and Melissa. Majoring in marketing at UNA.
