UNA 2006: Cole played in 15 games as a sophomore for the Lions last season. She had 25 at-bats with five hits, four RBI and nine runs scored. In the field, she also totaled three starts on the year at third base.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Tishomingo County High School for coach Charlotte Southward. Played third base for the Class 4A Braves, who advanced to the state playoffs four straight years and produced divisional championships in 2003 and 2004. Was an all-division selection in 2004 and also led the team in RBI.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Cierra Jade Cole. She was born on December 6, 1985. She is the daughter of Dave Cole and Deborah Michael, and has one sister, Lindsey. Majoring in professional biology and general chemistry at UNA.
