UNA 2006: Miller saw action in 22 games for
the Lions last season, including 14 starts. She batted
.255 on the year with 12 hits, eight runs scored and six
RBI. She went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored on
Mar. 1 against Clark Atlanta. She also recorded 12
putouts in the game at catcher.
HIGH SCHOOL: Miller prepped at Clewiston
High School for coach Melissa Whitehead where she
lettered four years at the varsity level. She was named
the team's MVP in 2003 after batting .500 on the year.
She had an on-base percentage of .496 throughout her
career. Also lettered in volleyball for the Tigers,
earning MVP honors as a junior and as a senior. She also
played softball with the Davie Power Black team under
coach Steve Nicastro.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Kendall Alyese
Miller. She was born on March 14, 1987. She is the
daughter of Charles and Debbie Miller and has one
brother, Quinn. Majoring in criminal justice at UNA.
