UNA 2006: Glienke led the Lions’ pitching staff in victories last season, posting a 16-10 record. She recorded a 2.15 earned run average in 30 appearances. For the year, she totaled 14 complete games and a team-high 146.1 innings of work. She struck out a career best 126 batters on the year and was one of two players on the roster to post a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. She recorded the first perfect game in school history for the Lions during an 18-0 victory over Clark Atlanta. During the win, she struck out nine batters and allowed no walks in five innings of work. She was named Gulf South Conference East Division Pitcher of the Week on March 21 after going 3-0 on the week with 15 strikeouts and a 0.78 ERA in 18 innings of work. She also posted a career-best 12 strikeouts against Henderson State at the GSC Crossover on April 7 in Decatur.

UNA 2005:  Recorded the team’s best earned run average in 2005 with a 2.62 for the year. She also tied for the team lead in victories with 14, starts with 22 and added 90 strikeouts for the season. She was named the GSC East Division Pitcher of the Week on March 23 after going 3-0, including a complete-game four-hiter against seventh- ranked UAH on 3-15. She also picked up two wins against West Alabama on 3-18 & 19, pitching 18.2 innings for the week with 14 strikeouts and a 1.50 ERA.

UNA 2004: Saw action in 27 games, including 20 appearances on the mound. She led the team's pitching staff with a 3.61 earned-run-average. She earned three shutouts and struck out 69 batters in 114.2 innigs of work. She recorded a 6-11 overall record and struck out a season-high nine batters on 2-14 against Arkansas-Monticello. She earned a complete-game shutout victory on 4-24 against West Alabama after scattering five hits and striking out two.

HIGH SCHOOL: Pitched, played first base, second base and outfield for Clear Brook High School under coach Tina Salazar. She helped lead the 5A Wolverines to the 2001 Bi-District championship. She was named Freshman-MVP, Best Defensive Player as a sophomore, Junior-MVP and was second-team all-district utility player as a senior.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Stephanie Lynn Glienke. She was born on April 25, 1985. She is the daughter of Greg and Cheryl Glienke.  Majoring in physical therapy at UNA.
