HIGH SCHOOL: Sharp played first base and
third base at Buckhorn High School for coach Russ Tate.
She helped lead the Lady Bucks to four straight
appearances in the Class 6A state playoffs including a
state championship in 2004 and a runner-up finish in
2005. She tied with fellow UNA freshman Allie Peterson
for most homeruns in a single season with six in 2007
and also broke the school RBI record the same year In
2006, she hit her 18th career homerun to set a new
record at the school. She finished her career with a
.397 batting average.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Jennifer Louise
Sharp. She was born on September 22, 1988. She lives
with her grandparents, Reedus and Bobbie Moon and is the
daughter of the late Jackie and Phyllis Sharp. She has
one brother, Justin. Majoring in elementary education at
UNA. |
