UNA 2007: Eades saw action in 47 games for
the Lions last season, all starts. She hit .250 for the
after going 35-for-140 at the plate as a true freshman.
She had six doubles and 19 RBI. She had 11 two-hit
performances during the season, including a 2-for-3,
three-RBI showing on Feb. 9 to lead the Lions to an 11-1
season-opening victory over Missouri-St. Louis.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played catcher for CJ Hawkins
at Clay- Chalkville High School. Helped the Cougars
Advance to the Class 6A state playoffs three straight
years, including a state runner-up finish in 2004. Was
named the 2005 Cougar Classic MVP and participated in
the
2005 North-South All-Star Game.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Maggi Lauren
Eades. She was born on May 30, 1988. She is the daughter
of Charlie and the late Nancy Eades and has one sister,
Amy. Majoring in secondary education and social sciences
at UNA. |
