MONTEVALLO
-- The University of North Alabama women's
tennis team dropped Montevallo 7-2 in a
non- conference match Saturday for the Lions
first win of the season.
UNA had opened
the season with road losses at Division I
Alabama-Birmingham and at perennial Division
II power Columbus State.
Montevallo's
only wins came at No. 1 and No. 5 singles as
UNA picked up four singles wins and three
doubles victories.
