Alabama tennis teams came up short in a pair
of weekend matches against Columbus State as
the UNA women lost 7-2 and the UNA men fell
8-1.
Phillipa Reakes
picked up UNA's lone singles win in the
women's match and is now 2-0 on the season.
The Lions also picked up a doubles win at
No.2 where Mallory Waites and Yuliya
Zelenskaya combinde for a 9-8 win.
In the men's
match, Chris Sodemann won at No. 4 singles
with a 6-3, 2-6, 10-6 victory over Luis
Gonzalez.
