straight day, the University of North Alabama
volleyball team used a 3-0 sweep to extend its
season, this time, to the national championship
match. The Lions defeated No. 14 West Texas A&M
Friday evening in the semi-finals of the NCAA
Division II National Championships at the UWF
Field House in Pensacola, Fla. |

PENSACOLA, Fla.,
- Kasie Spencer had 15 kills and hit .583 for the match
as the sixth-ranked University of North Alabama volleyball swept
Ashland to advance to the semi-finals of the NCAA Division II
championships Saturday at the UWF Field House in Pensacola, Fla.
The 30-25, 32-20, 30-24 victory over the 10th-ranked Eagles was the
Lions’ fifth straight over a ranked opponent, and put the team in
its third Final Four. It will also be UNA’s second semi-final
showing in the last four years.

match and held on for a 3-1 women's soccer victory

Conference opener. The Lions, now 3-3-1 overall,
gave up a goal to Casy Alosi just five and a half
minutes into the game. The Chargers then added goals

a trio of players reach double digits in kills to pick up the 30-18,
