team
broke
a
two-match
losing
streak
by
sweeping
Puerto
Rico-Rio
Piedras
Friday
evening
at
Flowers
Hall.
Sarah
Roberts
led
the
Lions
with
10
kills
and
also
turned
in a
match-high
five
blocks
as
UNA
climbed
back
above
the
.500
mark
with
an
11-10
record
on
the
season.
PRRP
falls
to
8-4
with
the
loss.
The
Lions
had
to
rally
to
win
the
first
set.
PRRP
led
20-12
before
North
Alabama
began
the
comeback
to
score
the
26-24
victory.
Roberts
had
a
block
and
all
four
of
her
kills
in
the
set
down
the
stretch
to
key
the
rally.
Alison
Jacobs
also
had
five
of
her
nine
kills
in
the
opening
game.
The
senior
from
Elkhorn,
Neb.,
hit
.389
for
the
match
and
added
20
assists
and
11
digs
to
finish
one
kill
shy
of
her
fourth
triple-double
of
the
season.
The
momentum
from
the
rally
carried
over
into
the
next
two
sets
as
UNA
finished
the
match
by
winning
25-17
and
25-18
to
complete
the
sweep.
The
Lions
hit
.455
in
the
second
set
and
got
four
team
blocks.
Cara
Gregg
led
the
way
in
the
final
set
with
four
of
her
seven
kills.
Defensively,
Lauren
Greenhill
led
the
way
with
12
digs
on
the
night,
including
10
in
the
opening
set.
UNA
will
host
Armstrong
Atlantic
State
Saturday
at 1
p.m.
in
the
program’s
annual
Dig
Pink
campaign.
Fans
are
encouraged

the
match
dressed
in
pink
to
support
breast
cancer
awareness.
