Alison Jacobs has been named the Gulf
South Conference East Division Offensive
Player of the Week according to league
officials on Tuesday.
Jacobs
guided the Lion offense against tough
competition over the weekend The senior
from Elkhorn, Neb., had 92 assists,
while also adding 24 kills during that
span. She also
recorded
her first career triple-double with 14
kills, 28 assists and 10 digs in a 3-0
win over 17th-ranked Nova
Southeastern.
The
offensive award for Jacobs is the first
of her career.
