SECOND HALF COMEBACK FALLS SHORT FOR UNA

MEMPHIS, Tenn. --
The University of North Alabama women's basketball team made a furious comeback in the second half but the Lions came up short in a 64-59 loss at Christian Brothers.

The loss snapped a two-game UNA winning streak and drops the Lions to 5-6 overall.

UNA shot just 25 percent in the first half, making just seven of 28 hots, as the Lions fell behind 30-17 at intermission. North Alabama then outscored CBU 42-34 in the second half but couldn't come all the way back.

Jameica York led UNA with 19 points. Amber Rutherford had 16 points and 12 rebounds and Chelsey Malone had 12 points.
