UNA VOLLEYBALL FALLS 3-0 AT LIPSCOMB

FLORENCE – Lipscomb clinched the No. 2 seed in the North Division of the ASUN Conference with a 3-0 home win over the University of North Alabama volleyball team on Friday. With the 13-25, 25-27, 18-25 loss, UNA falls to 9-19 on the season and 3-12 in league play.

AK Griggs hit .389 and had eight kills to lead the Lions. The junior from Arab also added a block on the night. UNA, however, hit .113 as a team while the BIsons hit .274 and had four players with at least seven kills.

Breylee Linder had 23 assists on the night while Katie Gerig posted a team-high nine digs. Addi Pelham led Lipscomb (13-12 overall, 10-5 ASUN) with 11 kills for the match.

UNA will close the 2021 season on Sunday at Central Arkansas. Match time is set for 2 p.m. on the UCA campus in Conway, Ark.
