HATTIESBURG, Miss. (October 31, 2023) – The University of North Alabama women's golf team finished tied for seventh place out of 12 teams after the third and final round of The Judson on Tuesday at Hattiesburg Country Club in Hattiesburg, Miss.
 
North Alabama wrapped up The Judson with rounds of 297, 308 and 302 for a 907 total. The Lions tied for seventh place with Central Michigan. The Lions scored better than in-state foe UAB, who placed ninth, and South Alabama, who finished 11th. Central Arkansas won the tournament with a three-round total of 875, finishing five strokes ahead of host Southern Mississippi in second. Cincinnati rounded out the top three with a score of 885.
 
Allycia Gan wrapped up the tournament with a team-low one-under-par 71 in the third round, allowing her to finish tied for ninth with a 219 total. Gan has now placed in the top 10 in three consecutive tournaments, bringing her career total to six top ten finishes. Jahnavi Prakhya moved up five spots with a 75 to finish the tournament tied for 27th with a 227. Senior Tori Roush tied for 37th, finishing her tournament with a 231 total. Cassie Tasney carded a 76 in the final round to tie her for 44th with a 234, while Hannah Dees tied for 46th with a 235. 
 
North Alabama was one of just five teams to have all five individuals place in the top 50 individuals. 
 
The Judson is the final fall tournament of the season for UNA, who does not resume play until March 4, 2024 with the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate hosted by Samford.
