NOTES

APSU Intercollegiate: The UNA women's golf program has participated in the APSU Intercollegiate five times in the six years of the program, with the lone absence coming in the 2020-21 year, when there was no fall season. The 2018 APSU Intercollegiate was the first tournament in the history of the North Alabama program, where the Lions finished ninth. The Lions placed third last season, with Jahnavi Prakhya and Jackie Klemm both tying for seventh individually.

Hoover Invitational Recap: Behind an eighth place finish from Jahnavi Prakhya, North Alabama earned a sixth place finish in the 2023 rendition of the Hoover Invitational. Junior Hannah Dees tied for 15th while graduate Allycia Gan tied for 21st after a 72 third round. Kerigan Klauber tied for 24th and Cassie Tasney tied for 54th to round out the rest of the UNA individuals. The Lions posted a three-round team total of 914, placing ahead of fellow Atlantic Sun schools Stetson and Queens in the process. The hosts of the APSU Intercollegiate, Austin Peay, were the outright winners of the Hoover Invitational with a 890 total.

Bring it Home Jahnavi: Junior Jahnavi Prakhya was the Lions top finisher in the season opener at the Hoover Invitational, placing eighth. Prakhya has placed in the top 10 in three of her last four matches, including finishing tied for seventh in the 2023 ASUN championship. Prakhya earned the program's first ever individual tournament victory on March 15, 2022 when she was named co-champion of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate.

Halfway There: Following the APSU Intercollegiate, North Alabama will be halfway through the fall slate. With two tournaments in the rearview mirror, the Lions only have the Lady Red Wolves Classic (Oct. 16-17) and The Judson (Oct. 30-31) before resuming play in March with the Huntsville.org Collegiate hosted by Samford.

Run It Back: Six of the tournaments on the Lions' 2023-24 schedule were also featured in 2022-23. North Alabama opened the season up with the Hoover Invitational and moves forward with the  APSU Intercollegiate, Lady Red Wolves Classic, Huntsville.org Intercollegiate, Bama Beach Bash and Lady Bison Classic for another season.
