NOTES
Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate: The Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate is made up of 19 teams. The field includes two ASUN foes in Austin Peay and Central Arkansas, alongside UConn, who participated in the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational with UNA this past week. The tournament is being played at True Blue Golf Resort, a par 72 course that totals 6978 yards.

Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational Recap: UNA placed fifth in the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational hosted by the PGA Pathway to Progression. The Lions topped the likes of Elon and UConn while placing just three strokes behind Michigan State. Andrew Ferworn led all North Alabama golfers, placing 16th, while Eric Luo and Sebastian Bengtsson each tied for 23rd place. Chase Kaiser used an impressive third round to jump 17 spots, tying for 30th place in the tournament.

In Impressive Company: In the Seminole Intercollegiate, UNA matched up with three top 15 ranked teams in the country, along with four others ranked in Spikemark's top 100 teams. Ole Miss, Arkansas and Florida State all ranked among the top 12 teams in NCAA Division I Men's Golf, while Mississippi State was ranked No. 22. The Lions led Mississippi State through two rounds of the three-round event.

State of the Union: The University of North Alabama men's golf team enters the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate among one of the top 150 teams in all of NCAA Division I according to Spikemark. The Lions rank 139th out of 306 Division I programs. UNA ranks above fellow ASUN programs Austin Peay, EKU, Queens and Bellarmine.

Title Town: North Alabama won both the team and individual titles at the Savannah Intercollegiate. Bengtsson and John Logan became the first North Alabama individuals to win a tournament since Francois Jacobs won the Gulf Coast Collegiate last spring. The team victory serves as the second under Schmitz Family Head Golf Coach Austin Phillips in his first year with the program. Phillips has two team titles in just seven tournaments this season, the first coming in the MartinFed Invitational at Turtle Point.

Postseason in Sight: This year's ASUN Men's Golf Championship takes place at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Highland Oaks in Dothan, Ala. on April 21-23. All 12 ASUN teams will participate in the tournament for a chance at an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The Final Countdown: Following the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate, the Lions have just one more tournament before moving on to postseason. UNA travels to West Virginia to participate in the Mountaineer Invitational to round out the regular season before returning to Alabama to participate in the ASUN Men's Golf Championship.
