FLORENCE, Ala. (January 29, 2025) – The University of North Alabama Department of Athletics announced changes to the September portion of the 2025 football schedule on Thursday. These changes come in coordination with Northeastern State (OK) and Illinois State.
 
On September 13, UNA will host Northeastern State for its home opener.
 
On September 20, UNA will travel to Illinois State.
 
On September 27, UNA will have a bye week. This moves the bye week back two weeks later than previously schedule, while moving the aforementioned games up one week sooner.
 
Schedule Changes
NSU at UNA – Moves to 9/13/25 (from 9/20/25)
UNA at ISU – Moves to 9/20/25 (from 9/27/25)
UNA Bye Week – Moves to 9/27/25 (from 9/13/25)
