Biography
UNA 2017: Ruble saw action in 32 matches with 17 starts for the Lions last season…she recorded 113 kills with an average of 1.10 kills per set…added 30 digs and six assists...was second on the team with 64 total blocks...equaled her career-high total of nine kills twice on the year and had a season-high five blocks on opening weekend against Wheeling Jesuit.
UNA 2016: She played in three sets of two matches in 2016...saw action on Sept. at Lee and Oct. 18 at home against West Georgia...recorded a pair of digs and a solo block.
UNA 2015: She saw limited action as a true freshman in 2015...played in one match, getting six kills against Kentucky Wesleyan on Sept. 11...she hit .455 on the day with a solo block and two block assists.
HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped for coach Megan Bond at South Iron R-1 High School in Annapolis, Mo...was a two-time first team All-Conference selection...received first team All-District accolades in 2012, 2013 and 2014...also received an All-Region honorable mention in 2013 and an Academic All-State nod in 2012.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Madison Mae Ruble. She is the daughter of Lester and Sherry Ruble. She was born on June 10, 1997 and had one brother, Landon. She is majoring in nursing at UNA.
