Biography

UNA 2016: Cole posted a 25-3 record with a 2.24 ERA for UNA in 2016...she was a first team All-Gulf South Conference selection after finishing the regular season as the league's only pitcher to go undefeated in GSC games...finished the season with 21 complete games and 174.2 innings pitched...struck out 154 batters on the year...received GSC Pitcher of the Week honors on April 12...was named to the 2016 GSC all-tournament team...was also a second team All-South Region selection by D2CCA...recorded no-hitters against Stillman and Mississippi College...reached double digits in strikeouts three times, including a season-high 12 on Feb. 20 against Truman State.

OTHER COLLEGE: She played two seasons at LSU-Eunice for coach Andy Lee...as a starting pitcher, helped lead the Lady Bengals to the NJCAA D2 regional and national championships in 2014...was named the 2014 Dudley Pitcher of the Year...also received first team All-Region and All-America honors...went 47-3 over her two-year career with 421 strikeouts...led the nation in strikeouts in 2015 with an average of 10.82 strikeouts per game...was also second in the nation with nine shutouts, third with a .85 earned run average, and fourth with 204 total strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL: She played for coach Dena Adkins at Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School in Orange, Texas...was a pitcher and DH for the Lady Bears.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Raven Cole. She was born on April 10, 1995. She is the daughter of Robert and Stacia Cole and has one sister, Madison. She is majoring in interdisciplinary studies at UNA.
