HIGH SCHOOL: Dawkins played for coach Mike Henry at Carroll High School...he helped lead the team to the Class 5A Final Four first the first time in school history...was a first team All-State selection as a senior..added all-county honors for the 2021 and 2022 seasons...was named the Class 5A, Area 3 tournament MVP the last two seasons...set school records for most points rebounds in a game with 18, most points in a game with 40, and most points scored in a season with 738 as a senior...played in the AHSAA North-South All-Star game where he scored a game-high 30 points and was named MVP for the South squad...also lettered in track and field, finishing second in the state in the high jump.
PERSONAL: His full name is Bryson Dawkins. He is the son of Jeffery Dawkins and Safari Meltellon. He was born on February 2, 2002 and has one brother.
