UNA 2014 FALL: Played in one tournament last Fall, finishing tied for 48th at the TVA Community Credit Union Invitational with a 230 total...Had rounds of 72, 80 and 78 for a 76.6 average... ..UNA 2014 SPRING: Redshirted at UNA last season...COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Sparks played his freshman season at Meridian (Miss.) Community College before transferring to UNA...Meridian finished 16th nationally in the NJCAA National Tournament...The Meridian team was selected as a GCAA All-Academic Team, making it one of only five junior college teams to be named to the list...HIGH SCHOOL: He played at Red Bay High School...In 2011 he won the boys age 16-18 division in the North Mississippi Coca-Cola Junior Tour’s stop at the Riverbirch Golf Club...Sparks recorded a 2-over-par 74 to win the tournament...A five-time winner on the Northeast Mississippi Junior Tour and the tour’s champion in 2011.
