Brooklynn Clark

Brooklynn Clark enters her second season as student assistant at North Alabama. She finished her two-year career at UNA in 2016 as the softball team's most decorated player in program history. Her record-setting season that year culminated with the Lions winning the 2016 NCAA Division II National Championship.

Clark set six offensive records for UNA during the 2016 championship run. She holds the single-season mark for most hits (107), most RBI (84), most home runs (19) and best batting average (.498). Her .435 career batting average also set a new record for the Lions while the 107 hits is also a Gulf South Conference single-season record.

Numerous postseason awards began to mount following the 2016 campaign. After UNA captured the national title in Denver, Clark was named to the all-tournament team at the championship event. She was also a first team All-Gulf South Conference selection and named the GSC Player of the Year.

Aside from being first team All-South Region picks by D2CCA and the NFCA, Clark was also honored by D2CCA as a first team All-American and the 2016 Ron Lenz Player of the Year. She also received first team All-America honors by the NFCA and HERO Sports. In the Summer of 2016 Clark was named the UNA Student-Athlete of the Year.

Clark was also named GSC Player of the Week on April 4, and later received an all-tournament nod after UNA captured its first GSC title in 29 seasons.

Clark will have both coaching and managing duties to assist the program. She will graduate in January, 2017 with a degree in sports management.
