UNA 2016: Bodenhorn made 12 appearances for the Lions as a true freshman in 2016...she went 2-1 with a 3.12 ERA...totaled 12 starts on the year with two complete games and a shutout...pitched 40.1 innings with 18 strikeouts...was named Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week on Feb. 9 after working 13 consecutive scoreless innings while the Lions faced Miles, Tuskegee and Young Harris...had a season-high nine strikeouts against Tuskegee.

HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped at Wilson Central High School for coach Brandon 'Bubba' Sutton...pitched and helped lead the Wildcats to three straight district championships (2013-15), two straight region titles (2014-15) and a 2015 AAA state championship...received multiple individual accolades, including District MVP honors in 2012 and 2013, all-district recognition in 2013 and 2014 and an All-State selection as a senior in 2015.
