Biography

UNA 2019: Strickland saw time in the pitching circle and the batter's box for UNA last season...she recorded a 2.72 ERA after going 1-4 in 13 pitching appearances…finished the season with 28.1 innings pitched and 16 strikeouts…batted .190 on a 4-for-21 showing with an RBI. 

COLLEGE: She pitched two seasons for Lyndsey Angus at Pensacola State College...started 17 games and had a 2.34 earned run average in 101 innings pitched with 67 strikeouts...was named second team all-conference both years.

HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped for coach Katie Bennett at Leon High School...helped lead the Lions to a 2014 district championship while being named the team's offensive Player of the Year...was named the 2014 All Big-Bend Player of the Year and received first team honors...also named the team's defensive Player of the Year, as well as first team honors in the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Jensen Marie Strickland. She is the daughter of Larry and Lisa Strickland. She was born on September 18, 1997 and has two brothers, Jordan and Jarrett. She is majoring in political science at UNA.
