Biography

UNA 2017: Parr saw action in 12 games in 2017, getting one start on April 9 against Mississippi College.

COLLEGE: She played two seasons at Wallace-Hanceville, helping the Lions win a pair of state championships...was also a two-time all-conference and all-region selection...finished her career as the second-leading home run hitter with 25 over two seasons.

HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped at Hayden High School for coach John Simmons...pitched and played third base as the Wildcats won the 2013 Class 5A state championship...also helped lead the team to three straight county and area titles...set a school record with 36 career home runs...also had single-season records 13 home runs  and 68 RBI in 2012.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Kaitlin McKenzie Parr. She is the daughter of Glen and Kristy Parr. She was born on February 28, 1996 and has one brother and one sister. She is majoring in elementary education at UNA.
