Biography

UNA 2017: Norfleet played in 38 games, including eight starts for the Lions last season...scored 19 runs after seeing most action as a pinch runner...recorded four hits with two home runs and four RBI...drove in four runs in one game on Feb. 23 against Miles, going 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs.

COLLEGE: She played for coach Amy Tudor at Western Kentucky...totaled 27 RBI's and three home runs in two seasons for the Hilltoppers as the team finished as conference regular season and tournament champions in 2015.

HIGH SCHOOL: She played short stop and left field for coach Delisa Hughes at Houston County High School...was an All-State selection and was named team MVP as a senior in 2014...also received all-district honors in 2012 and 2013 and was named the 2011 Rookie of the Year...also lettered in basketball for the Fighting Irish.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Sumer Alexis Norfleet. She is the daughter of Barak and Vanessa Norfleet. She was born on September 28, 1996 and has one brother. She is majoring in interdisciplinary studies at UNA.
