Biography

UNA 2017-18: Nunley saw action in 28 games for the Lions last season...she averaged 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds per game...shot 46.9 percent from the floor  on 30-of-64 shooting also hit 58.3 percent (14-of-24) of her free throws...added 13 assists, five blocked shots and six steals on the season...had a season-high total of seven points in three different games.

UNA 2016-17: She started 24 games for UNA in the 2016-17 season...played in all 29 games, averaging 5.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest...shot 46 percent from the field and was 50-of-70 from the free throw line...also had 28 assists, 24 steals and five blocked shots on the year...reached double figures in scoring 10 times, with back-to-back season-high 13-point showings at home against West Georiga and on the road at Valdosta State.

UNA 2015-16: She played in every game and started in 26-of-27 contests as a true freshman for the Lions during the 2015-16 season...averaged 8.9 points per game on 74-of-226 (32.7 percent) shooting from the floor...her 18 blocked shots on the year led the team...also had 20 assists and 14 steals...was 88-of-117 from the free throw line...reached double figures in scoring 10 times on the year, including a season-high 30 points on Jan. 30 at West Georgia.

HIGH SCHOOL: She played for Chris Higginbottom at Belmont High School in Mississippi…helped lead the Cardinals to a pair of state championships and a runner-up finish…averaged 14.2 points per game as a senior and hit the winning shot in the state championship game…also averaged 5.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game and was an all-district and All-State selection.
 
PERSONAL: Her full name is Katelyn Breanna Nunley. She is the daughter of Joseph Nunley and Anna Powers. She was born on November 25, 1996 and has one brother, Charlie, and three sisters, Gracie, Mollie and Tori. She is majoring in exercise science at UNA.
