UNA INDOOR: Kapovich also played four seasons for the UNA indoor volleyball team...she was a two-time AVCA All-America honorable mention after earning multiple All-South Region and All-GSC honors throughout her career...her 2,216 career digs the second-highest four-year total in school history...set two career records for the Lions, including a 4.56 digs-per-set average and 122 matches with double-digit dig totals...she played in 136 total matches...also had 429 assists and 180 service aces.
HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped at Thornton Fractional South, where she played libero for coach Kim Sands...was a two-time all-area and three-time all-conference selection while also lettering in volleyball for four years...was also a two-time all-conference selection in softball for the Rebels.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Ashtyn Rose Kapovich. She is the daughter of Robert and Gail Kapovich. She was born on January 21, 1996 and has two brothers and one sister. She is majoring in digital media at UNA.
