Haley Doerfler

Haley Doerfler enters her first season as assistant volleyball coach at North Alabama. The former standout at Hawaii Pacific came to UNA from Durham University in England, where she worked the school's indoor and sand volleyball programs.
 
Doerfler will serve as the indoor team's blocking coordinator and coach the opposites and middles.  On the outdoor team, she will serve as recruiting coordinator and oversee operations.

While working at Durham, Doerfler served as the program's recruiting coordinator for both the men's and women's indoor teams. She was also the head coach for the school's men's and women's sand teams since January of 2017. She also has extensive experience coaching at the club level over the previous six years.
 
At Hawaii Pacific, the four-year letterman totaled 765 career kills, including 208 as a senior in the 2014 season. She led the team in blocking in three of her four seasons, totaling 394. She posted a team-high 117 total blocks and hit .309 in 2013 and was a third team All-PacWest selection.
 
Doerfler prepped at Prairie High School in Battle Ground, Washington, where she was an All-State and league MVP. She also excelled at the club level, winning the JO National Champions in the American Division while being named to the all-tournament team.
