Will White joined the North Alabama women’s indoor volleyball staff as a volunteer assistant in 2019, and was promoted to assistant coach in January of 2020. His primary tasks include statistics, scouting and film preparation for practice and matches.
White has been coaching at the club and high school levels since 2008 and holds multiple certifications, including being USAV CAP Level III. Other certifications include USAV Safe Sport, USAV Beach IMPACT, Positive Coaching Alliance, STAR (Alabama), GHSA (Georgia) and Gold Medal Square.
White currently assists UNA with Volleymetrics and other statistical data. He also helps with scouting opponents and preparing reports and video presentations.
Prior to working with the Lions, White also assisted with UNA volleyball camps, and also served as director of player development for the Alabama SWAT Volleyball Club.
He was the head volleyball coach at Hackleburg High School in 2017 and 2018 and has also coached prep volleyball at Sulligent, North Forsyth (Ga.) and Hamilton.
White currently resides in Detroit, Ala., with his wife, Lanice, and children, Michael and Zella.
