Biography

UNA 2017: Ellis played in eight matches with one start at setter as a red-shirt freshman in 2017...she recorded 19 assists with a 1.58 per-set average...added five service aces and 14 digs.

UNA 2016: Received a red-shirt for the 2016 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ellis played for coach Laura Trautmann at Seymour High School...She was a setter and team captain, helping lead the Thunder to a pair of second-place tournament finishes at the conference and regional levels as a junior and a senior...was a two-time first team all-conference selection and was named the team's Most Outstanding Player and a first team all-area pick in 2015...also received an All-State honorable mention as a senior...also lettered in soccer.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Emma Nicole Ellis. She is the daughter of Mark and Denise Ellis. She was born on December 4, 1997 and has one sister. She is majoring in biology at UNA.
